imageWhat do you do if you’re a flailing anti-gay Republican candidate – wait, all but one is anti-gay – that finished only slightly ahead of “undecided” in the Iowa straw poll? If you’re Atlanta-based Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich, you crank up the anti-gay rhetoric. Duh.

Up first, Gingrich (top photo). In an interview with Catholic Radio San Diego, the former House Speaker suggests gay marriage is to blame for the country’s economic woes.

“The concept of family being between man and woman and the concept of all these core values that grow out of 3,000 years of Judeo-Christian tradition,” Gingrich answered. “This is a direct threat to the entire secular world.”

Then he goes on to talk about free people – except for those that want to gay marry – and how free people are based on faith. Huh? So anyway, the gays and their same-sex union gimmicks are the root of the Great Recession.

And what of the states allowing gay marriage and their reports of the boost it’s brought to their economies? Gingrich will get back to you on that one. Funny enough, Gingrich was for gay marriage in New York before he was against it and throughout, his lesbian half-sister continues to support him and damn his bastard critics.

imageThen there’s Cain (second photo), who’s spouting off and making Rick Perry and Michele “I’m not a hateful bitch” Bachmann seem almost reasonable. What does Cain want to do? Not just unseat the incumbent president in the next election, but impeach Obama, too.

“So the main stumbling block in terms of getting him impeached on a whole list of things such as trying to pass a health care mandate which is unconstitutional, ordering the Department of Justice to not enforce the Defense of Marriage Act — that’s an impeachable offense right there. The president is supposed to uphold the laws of this nation … and to tell the Department of Justice not to uphold the Defense of Marriage Act is a breach of his oath. … There are a number of things where a case could be made in order to impeach him, but because Republicans do not control the United States Senate, they would never allow it to get off the ground.”

So, impeach Obama for helping those gay sinners, some of which he’d consider for jobs in a Cain White House. Surprising, since his campaign is a mess of gay sex.
