Cockpit celebrates in its underwear [photos]

Cockpit marked its 1-year ‘Manniversary’ on Sunday the same way it opened last May: Celebrating with men not afraid of hair on their chest. And a jocks and underwear contest.

DJ Diablo Rojo–the force behind next month’s jock-themed ManShaft at Cockpit–provided the tunes throughout the evening. And Ruby Redd emceed as about a dozen guys of various shapes and sizes competed in the underwear contest.

Owner Michael Winfield opened the bar in southeast Atlanta last May, adding a scruffy addition to the city’s gay nightlife scene.
