Rain! Gay marriage! Kidnapping! It’s local news
Before WSB turned on its gaydar and headed to Midtown for reaction to President Obama’s gay marriage declaration, they composed what’s got to be the best local news tweet promoting the upcoming coverage.
WSB tweeted this just a minute before the start of its 4 p.m. broadcast on Wednesday:
Some rain, gay marriage and an attempted kidnapping - all happening now on Ch2 at 4.
WSB’s Tony Thomas found a gay—whew; it was touch and go since they were in Midtown and all—and found some dude to criticize Obama’s gay marriage evolvement as the result of bullying. From Joe Biden.
And there you have local TV news. At least their gay marriage tweet was better than one from the AJC, which couldn’t seem to find any reaction.
RT @ajccolleges: AJC wants to know what you think of Obama supporting #gaymarriage. Email:[email protected] or tweet @smccaffrey13
