When gay newshunk Anderson Cooper isn’t on the air at CNN, he’s apparently hitting the gym. Hard. Just check out those biceps and the pecks under that Fred Perry polo.

Even better, though, are the guns on his new beau, Benjamin Maisani. He seems to be the latest in a string of sexy romantic interests for the openly-closeted journalist. The list includes Julio Cesar Recio and “Real World’s” JD Ordonex. You know, that young guy who trained dolphins.

Cooper and Maisani were spotted in the West Village, with their matchy matchy bikes, shirts and pecs. Maisani, though, seems to have Cooper beat in the biceps area.

Too bad all that new muscle isn’t keeping viewers for Cooper. Ratings show his audience is slipping.
