Tuesday: Ricky Berens’ bootylicious baring

It was the split seen around the world.

Ricky Berens, a 21-year-old swimmer and Gold medalist at the Beijing Olympics, bared his buns during a qualifying heat of the 4 X 100 meter relay freestyle on Sunday during the World Swimming Championships in Rome. It’s really the only way to get attention when Michael Phelps is in the house. And boy did it work.

Photos of Berens’ toned buns are now in every nook and cranny of the Internet. In his defense, Berens says he bent down to stretch, the suit ripped, his booty popped out and it was too late to do anything other than swim.

“I kind of freaked out for just a second,” Berens said. “I felt like [the hole] was almost down to my knees. I felt like I was putting on a pretty good show.”
