Wednesday: Taylor Lautner’s ‘New Moon’ abs

Someone’s been hitting the gym for his new movie role. And let’s just say Taylor Lautner’s hard abs give us flashbacks to Brad Pitt in “Thelma & Louise.”

Lautner plays Jacob Black in “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” the sequel set to hit theaters Nov. 20. “Eclipse” arrives next June.

LA Times photographer David Strick visited the set outside Vancouver and came up with a sizzling gallery of 41 photos. Well, sizzling in that Strick’s “Hollywood Backlot” made good use of a shirtless (and muscled) Lautner. It might just be enough for us to check out the flick.
