Atlanta Bear Fest crowns its hairy tops [photos]
A weekend of burly, fuzzy and leather-clad men was topped by the Mr. Atlanta Bear & Atlanta Cub Contest on Saturday at Eagle, a signature event of the Atlanta Bear Fest.
Atlanta guy Alan Peoples was crowned Mr. Atlanta Bear, while Charlotte resident Stephen Collins won the Atlanta Cub title.
The weekend, dubbed Roman Holiday, unfolded at the Eagle when participants weren’t splashing around host hotel Courtyard Northlake Marriott. The popular annual festival went so well that organizers of the 2013 fest offered up an early-bird registration for next year on Monday.
