Big Wig IV tips: Go big or go home [photos]

Size matters to Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus, at least it does on Saturday, when the popular Big Wig fundraiser returns with its annual hairy proposition. We gather pics with helpful hints.
If 2009’s first Big Wig in a condo building (view photos) led to an even larger event space in 2010 (view more photos) and another cavernous gallery in 2011 (yup, even more photos), then Saturday’s Big Wig IV: Once Upon A Wig ups the ante with a fairytale theme at the former Fox Grill in Atlantic Station.
Did we mention the open bar? Oh yes. Not only will the mixed LGBT crowd be shaking their moneymakers to the sounds of DJ Todd Skelton and flipping gravity-defying wigs, their ticket buys them free beer, wine and cocktails. Also on tap are hors d’oeuvres by chefs from some great restaurants and awesome raffle prizes.
What more do you need? Besides the helpful pics and tips in the gallery below, you need to to buy $30 advance tickets online, or expect to pay $35 at the door if you have on a wig and $40 if you don’t do the do. VIP tickets are $60 ($75 at the door) and allow access to a special area, special munchies and a swag bag of goodies worth more than your ticket price.
Proceeds benefit Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus, which is busy prepping its Red White & You concert on June 15.
