Colin Powell even backs gay marriage [photos]
It seems that everyone is jumping on the gay marriage bandwagon. Biden. Obama. And now, the respected Republican who as the national’s top military commander in 1993 helped ban gays serving openly in the military.
How’s that for a switcheroo? Colin Powell, a former Secretary of State and chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, came out in favor of gay marriage during a CNN interview on Wednesday – just in time for the Memorial Day holiday. Not a bad way for the former military commander to help honor all those LGBT soldiers this weekend.
How about it, Mayor Kasim Reed?
