Chef Courtney Renn is a perfectionist who can handle her fish. Just not in the 20 minutes “Chopped” offers in its first round, so the Atlanta chef and lesbian dog lover saw a quick dismissal Tuesday on the foodie competition.

And that means the personal chef didn’t snatch the Dyke of Deliciousness crown from gay Atlanta chef and recent “Chopped” champion Ria Pell. In fact, among the three Atlanta chefs who recently appeared on the Food Network’s cooking competition, Renn experienced the quickest exit. Chef Virginia Willis was brought down in the final round by a sorbet that just wasn’t sweet enough.

“I’m disappointed but I want to be the best that I can be 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” a tearful Renn says after being chopped (video above).
