‘Cupcake’ kicks off Cotillion campaign [photos]

First out of the gate with an individual Atlanta Cotillion fundraiser this year, 2012 debutante Jose Guillen kicked off with a Sunday gathering of booze, boys, bites and beats on Sunday.
Guillen (top photo, left) – under the guise of his deb-for-a-night alter ego Maria Francesca Della Catessen “Cupcake” Gonzaga – is vying against four others to raise the most money for AID Atlanta and the coveted Cotillion Ball crown that goes with it in September. The organization kicked off its fundraising season last month by introducing Guillen and his fellow 2012 Cotillion debs at a Country-chic hoedown called the GCB Party (view photos) with “A List: Dallas” star Levi Crocker.
On Sunday, gays gathered at a private home for an open bar, good food, the sounds of a live DJ and to support Guillen’s bid for Cotillion. The gay gentlemen dress as ladies once a year for AID Atlanta at an annual ball after spending all summer throwing fun-raisers for the cause. Of course, they’re out to break last year’s fundraising record.
