Queens revel in Divine filth for PALS [photos]
An All-Star cast of judges dished their way through some filthy performances by some trashy drag queens on Saturday for the Divine Rules Pageant that raised cash for Pets Are Loving Support.
The panel included B-52’s frontman Fred Schneider, Michelle Visage from “RuPaul’s Drag Race”—the sharp-tongued judge talked with us ahead of her Atlanta stop—and drag performer Phoenix. And what they witnessed was a collection of seven drag queens trying to out-filth one another in the name of infamous queen Divine to benefit PALS during the show at Jungle with Nicole Paige Brooks serving as emcee.
Jaye Lish (top photo) dabbled in faux scat, Arora Thunder relished in a mixture of peanut butter and jelly and Evelyn Caldwell disemboweled a victim on stage. Edie Cheezburger, Nine Love, Leigh R. Blake and Jasmine Antoinette rounded out the cast. Lish, who also performs with the Armorettes, took the crown and $1,000 prize.
