Dress like a Faerie for Midsummer Night [photos]

Atlanta Radical Faeries are all set for their annual all-day solstice free for all Once Upon A Midsummer Night. But for Faerie virgins venturing to the event for the first time, here’s a how-to do on costuming to fit right in.
Of course, there’s no dress code. Anything other than “anything goes” would be so un-Faerie like. But then again, you can’t wait for the costuming workshop and Faerie 101 that come during Midsummer Night either.
When it all goes down at the Arts Exchange on Saturday, be prepared for everything from fire dancing and Laughter Yoga to serious discussions of Gender/Radical Acceptance and Sex Positivity to drum circles and a dance party. View Saturday’s full noon – 3 a.m. schedule.
In the meantime, going shirtless and kicking your raiser to the curb are just the beginning. Check out our captioned photo tips below for more ideas based on last year’s Midsummer Night. (View last year’s full photo album when you’re done, too.)
