Festival on Ponce brings out artsy gays [photos]

What do you get when you mix hundreds of art and food vendors with the draw of the outdoors? A gaggle of Atlanta gays out for a weekend park stroll at the fall rendition of Festival on Ponce, that’s what.
The event, which began with two weekends last year and continued in 2012 with spring’s Festival on Ponce (view photos), is the brainchild of partners Patrick Dennis and Randall Fox. They’re the same couple whose Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces made last month’s wildly successful Piedmont Park Arts Festival (photos) possible.
The winning formula was back on full display on Saturday and Sunday, where Festival on Ponce spotlighted the gorgeous Olmstead Linear Park, which is enjoying the fruits of a $10 million renovation.
