Friends toast fallen Blake’s employee [photos]
Friends and family of popular Blake’s employee Gary Schwartz packed to capacity a Midtown café on Feb. 3 to celebrate his life, just five days after the 39-year-old died.
The celebration to remember Schwartz had the crowd spilling out of Gilbert’s, where he once worked, onto the sidewalk of 10th Street just a few steps from Blake’s, which held a “Very Gary ‘80s Music Explosion” after the remembrance.
