Gay Atlanta clan rolls into White House Easter

The family of the Health Initiative’s Linda Ellis and her partner Lesley Brogan didn’t get to meet the president at the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll on April 9, but as one of many LGBT families there, they did have a blast in D.C.
The White House included the snapshot at right in its roundup of the LGBT-inclusive event.
But if the family didn’t see the president, where did this photo (top) of the Obamas with the family—including Ellis’ mom and the couple’s two sons—come from? Ellis (second from right) explained on her Facebook page as their trip came to a close.
Heading home from DC. Made some good memories and laughed a lot. Didn’t see the president, but luckily Lesley thought ahead during our visit to Madame Tussaud’s yesterday, so we still got a photo with them.
