Gay jocks show their pride in 5K run [photos]

A year older and 12 seconds slower, Andrew Sullivan showed that he’s still got his Pride magic: He won the annual Pride Run on Saturday for the second consecutive year.
Sullivan took the crown of the 22nd Annual Atlanta Pride 5K Run & Walk with a time of 17:40, just 12 seconds slower than his win in last year’s event. Little more than three minutes later, Katarina Dubcova took the women’s title with a time of 21:00. Dubcova won the women’s title in 2010, too.
Rod Thompson (18:07) and Paula Johnson (22:56) took the masters titles in their respective categories. View the full list of winners and participants.
Nearly 330 people took part in the race, which again stepped off from inside Piedmont Park. The event benefits Jerusalem House and the Atlanta Pride Committee.
