Gay Men’s Chorus toasts its Pride [photos]

Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus took a well-deserved break to socialize even as they ramp up for more action. Sunday was beer bust time, but the chorus also knows it’s time to start thinking about Pride.
Summer has been busy for the chorus, which wrapped its 31st season with the annual Big Wig party (view photos) and “Red, White & You” concert in June. From there, they took the show on the road to perform at the international GALA Choruses concert in Denver.
As they lifted beer, shots and raffle prizes at the Fifth Ivory to celebrate a rare month off, members were already gearing up for more chorus events. Sunday’s beer bust raised funds for AGMC’s Pride float, and it won’t be long before we’re hearing about fall concerts, including their annual signature holiday show.
