Gay tennis tourney crowns champions [photos]

Sure, there was that sci-fi thing and Black Gay Pride during Atlanta’s long Labor Day weekend. But gay tennis aficionados picked up their rackets and whacked a few balls during the biggest gay tennis event of the year, too.
The Peach from the gay Atlanta Team Tennis Association featured some 140 players from across the country in tennis competition that unfolded Sept. 2-5 at the DeKalb Tennis Center. The event was about twice as big as ATTA’s other signature event, the Chattahoochee Doubles Classic in March.
