Gays, lesbians pick their fav royals

When it comes to a prince, gay men in the U.K. prefer Harry over his brother William.

A poll from dating web site Parship.com shows that more than a third of respondents want a romp with Harry, compared to 23 percent for William. A third of the gay men say they would steer clear of both.

When it comes to lesbians, they pick William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton as their most lusted after, versus 18 percent for Chelsy Davy. Some five percent say neither.

“This fraught romantic vote suggests divided royal loyalties,” says Adrian Gillian, a spokesperson for Parship.com. “Indeed, many gay male singles are so torn they say they would need to date both our young princes, whose female love interests prove only slightly less of a queer pull. Being part of an inclusive, modern monarchy, William and Harry will be delighted that they and their close circle can arouse such strong emotions from Britain’s homosexual subjects.”
