President to break silence on “evolving” gay marriage stance, combined OutGames-Gay Games a no-go, Against Me! singer comes out as transgender, bullied stun-gun shooter expelled, gays on TV, “Beyond Amendment One” video, and more LGBT headlines.

• Obama affirms gay marriage support. Click the headline to watch video of the president (top photo) saying his “evolving” view on gay marriage has led him to believe that same-sex couples should have the right to marry. It comes days after V.P. Biden “absolutely” supports it (watch), and one day after Obama said he is “disappointed” that North Carolinians overwhelmingly approved a constitutional marriage ban. Interview excerpts air Wednesday on ABC News at 7 p.m., and the full interview airs Thursday on Good Morning America.”

• School expels bullied gay teen who fired stun gun. Darnell “Dynasty” Young fired a taser that his mother gave him for protection as a warning shot to six bullies at school. No students were hit. Young won’t be allowed back in school until January.

• Gay Games-OutGames merger falls through. The boards of the Gay and Lesbian International Sport Association and the Federation of Gay Games met last weekend in an effort to create one quadrennial event in 2018. Negotiatiors failed to come to an agreement, though both sides say talks will continue.

• Punk rocker comes out as trans woman in Rolling Stone. Lead singer for the band Against Me! Laura Jane Grace (middle photo), who used to be known as Tom Gabel, opens up about her transition in the newest issue of the mag hitting newsstands Friday.

• LGBT families to ring NYSE closing bell. The honor goes to members of the New York-based Family Equality Council and their kids on Wednesday afternoon as the organization celebrates its 30th anniversary. Watch it at 4 p.m. on CNBC.

• Colorado lawmakers reach impasse on civil unions. Making progress through committees for the first time in the state House, the bill won’t get a vote this session. The Republican House Speaker said lawmakers couldn’t agree, so the measure will die.

• California considers ban on “ex-gay” therapy for teens. If passed, a fast-tracked bill in the state legislature would be the first law of its kind. In debates, lawmakers supporting the bill are calling “conversion” therapy “dangerous” and “harmful”

• TV plays major role in gay rights landscape. The lack of public outrage about openly gay characters on several of the Top 10 most-watched shows, including No. 1 “Modern Family,” may say more about voter acceptance in the election year than partisan debates.

• “We Do” launches blowback against North Carolina vote. Not even a night goes by, and North Carolina’s pro-gay marriage group comes out with guns blasting. The “Hope Beyond Amendment One” video announces the next phase of their battle for marriage equality. Watch:
