Another day, another slur-and-sorry NBA player. All-Star Knicks forward Amare Stoudemire (top photo) got a tweet from a fan telling him to up his game next season. The fan got a direct message from Stoudemire calling him a “fag” then another message after news reports picked up the story: “Sorry bro!! No Excuses. Won’t happen again.” NBA likely to review the incident.

Major gay marriage foe now favors unions. David Blankenhorn, founder of the Institute for American Values think tank and key witness in the defense of California’s Proposition 8 gay marriage ban, changed tacks Friday. He writes that the time for “denigrating or stigmatizing same-sex relationships is over.”

California bill would protect churches from performing gay weddings. Even with Proposition 8 still in place, a new measure winding through the legislature aims to put minds to rest for some voters against gay marriage by reiterating that when the state marriage ban ends, religious institutions would be exempt.

Brangelina to wed where same-sex unions are legal. Quelling some ire from gay activists for going back on their promise to stay unmarried until marriage is legal for everyone, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (third photo) announced plans to leave the U.S. to marry in Windsor, England.

Largest Latino group unanimously supports marriage equality. Just weeks after NAACP threw its name behind gay marriage, the National Council of La Raza, the biggest Latino civil rights organization in the U.S., unanimously passed a resolution backing marriage equality.

Ohio man accused of murdering lesbian ex over child custody. Ashley Biggs was found beaten and strangled to death Friday. Police believe that her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Chad Cobb, ambushed and killed her after she won custody of their daughter. Biggs and her girlfriend had a restraining order out on Cobb.

Trans teen launches Indiegogo fundraising campaign for school. 14-year-old Asher (bottom photo) is supported by his family and friends but not at school. He needs $25,000 a year to attend a transgender-friendly boarding school in North Carolina and is campaigning online for half the amount. Watch:
