Radio lesbian Melissa Carter finally gets a job
Atlanta’s favorite underemployed lesbian and Twitter celebrity Melissa Carter is, well, no longer underemployed. The former morning drive time radio jockey gets behind the mic again on Wednesday, this time for your evening commute.
It’s been more than a year since Carter eloquently announced to fans of Q100’s “The Bert Show” that “I quit this bitch.” Since, she’s kept up with her charity causes, penned a column for the GA Voice, become a Twitter celebrity, proved she’s gayer than Mary Norwood, inspired us and teased us with vague hints that something might just be in the works.
Excited my permanent afternoon shift on @allnews1067 begins tomorrow! Hope you will check it out while out or on your way home from work.
Her shift runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. But if you’re not stuck in traffic and listening on your car radio, you can also stream the broadcast on your computer or tablet. Fancy. Check out her show and then stop by the Big Gay Game Show and tell her what you thought. Carter is expected to appear at the charity event at Jungle.
