Rodrick Carter’s beaus end up in body bags
When Rodrick Carter ends his relationships, there tends to be a body count.
Carter, 31, was sentenced to life plus 10 years on Thursday in Fulton County Superior Court for the 2007 murder of his boyfriend. Romalace Bean told friends he was breaking it off with Carter; 11 days later, his bullet-riddled body was founds in Union City.
Carter has sat in a Fulton County jail cell since. But it’s not the first time Carter has ended a relationship by killing his partner. Fulton prosecutors say he did the same thing in DeKalb County.

Earlier that day, he told a friend he was ending his relationship with Rodrick Carter, 31, according to the Fulton County District Attorney’s office. Eleven days later, Bean’s bullet-riddled body was discovered in his Union City apartment.
After initially denying any involvement, Carter confessed to shooting Bean. He had already pleaded guilty in DeKalb County to shooting a former partner following a romantic squabble, the district attorney’s office said.
