Gay kissers ejected from Santorum rally, hockey jock recalls coming out in high school, Oprah’s OWN cancels O’Donnell show, Tammy Baldwin talks politics, Alan Cumming on marriage, Alabama’s anti-gay sex-ed law, and more LGBT headlines.

• “The Rosie Show” cancelled after one season. After just five months, Rosie O’Donnell’s latest talk series (top photo) airs its final episode on March 30. The ratings, like all Oprah Winfrey Network shows that don’t have Oprah on them, were abysmal.

• Nine questions for Tammy Baldwin. The New York Times quizzes the lesbian Congress member and Senate candidate on everything from her mother to gay marriage to President Obama. Consider it a primer for Baldwin’s HRC-Atlanta appearance in May.

• Obama opposed North Carolina’s proposed gay marriage ban. A campaign spokesperson on Friday said the president is unequivocally opposed to a referendum that would amend the state constitution to allow only marriages and civil unions between straight couples.

• Gay hockey jock chronicles coming out in high school. Canadian Scott Heggart (middle photo), now 21, talks about why he decided to come out to his high school teammates in a YouTube video series.

• Alan Cumming talks marriage, “Good Wife” at benefit. The Tony and Emmy winner peppered a nightclub performance for the International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission with his take on gay rights.

• Gay Democrat, Republican ally team to repeal Alabama’s sex-ed law. The legislative odd couple proposed a bill to strike an antiquated 1992 state law requiring teachers to emphasize that homosexuality is not accepted by society and homosexual activity is a criminal offense.

• Police investigate Hollywood attack on gay man. Three men asked the victim if he was gay, then beat him up when he said yes. Police classify the incident as a hate crime.

• Kissing men kicked out of Santorum rally. The crowd shouted “U-S-A” as Timothy Tross and Ben Clifford (bottom photo) were escorted out of the rally for the kiss that stopped the candidate’s speech. Watch it unfold:
