Not even you are as gay as this LGBT Atlanta events list. From officially sanctioned showstoppers to unofficial balls-out fun, the big gay annual Atlanta Pride means that there is only one thing to do. But of course by one thing, we mean dozens upon dozens of options. Here’s the rundown:

Friday, Oct. 11
Atlanta Pride Kickoff Party (top photo) has become an annual tradition. Thousands party with the fishes to start the big gay weekend. Before the festival on Saturday and Sunday, dress to impress for a cocktail extravaganza with DJs Vicki Powell and Chris Griswold @ Georgia Aquarium, 7 p.m. This party rocks, even if Tim Gunn doesn’t want you to go.  Read our full coverage of Atlanta Pride.

Atlanta Pride Kickoff Afterparty with Cazwell (second photo). The gay rapper unloads his New York ice cream truck during this official Atlanta Pride event. Dance tunes spun by the one and only DJ Ed Bailey from D.C.  Don’t miss a beat @ Jungle, 9 p.m. Get there early if you can’t miss The Other Show cast welcoming its newest regular cast member, Celeste Holmes in the Jungle Room, 9:30 p.m. Save money with a Jungle Weekend Pass.

Happy National Coming Out Day! It may be the best thing you'll ever do for gay rights. Celebrate your own coming out, or go ahead and show friends and family that someone they know and love is gay and proud of every facet of who you are. 

“Choir Boy” continues its heralded run of this play about a teen coming to grips with his fabulosity while navigating prep school @ Alliance Theater, 8 p.m. Runs through Oct. 13.

James Adomian (third photo) brings the best impressions and most intelligent comedy you’ve seen in a long time. Let the gay comedian taking over TV and movies take you over. Local gay comic Ian Aber hosts @ Laughing Skull, 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. through Sunday. See a clip and read our in-depth interview.

Tab Party with DJs Jay McCracken and Nina Flowers. It’s an unofficial but hot Pride afterparty welcoming back one of Atlanta’s own and one of “RuPaul’s” own in the booth. Three other “Drag Race” queens, hot go-go boys, a free Skyview ferris wheel pass and rooftop access are your favorite @ Tabernacle, 9:30 p.m.

BanjeeGirl Pride Glo Hookup Party gets Atlanta’s lesbian bar’s Pride weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party and all the ladies you can handle. Glow-in-the-dark madness @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Pop Music Pride Party brings candy-coated video and radio hits to celebrate gay Atlanta’s Pride weekend with fruity shots, cotton candy cocktails and man candy. Taste the rainbow @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

Heaven Pride Party (fourth photo) lays down Atlanta’s annual lesbian Pride dance event with quite a few of their man friends in tow. Sexy aerial performances, DJ Yvonne Monet, go-go dancers, singers and you @ Park Tavern, 9:30 p.m. Here’s how they got down last year and the year before that.

Jayne County & the Electric Queers puts a true legend on stage for Pride. Don’t miss this Southern trans groundbreaker and her band rocking it out like no other @ Star Bar, 10 p.m.

Purr Battle of the Electronica is the annual dance party that pits experimental synth mashing up every genre in a high energy cacophony. Bands at 10 p.m. and DJs at midnight @ Noni's.

FUR Pride with DJ Dani Toro (fifth photo) drops you into gay Atlanta’s hot weekly man-on-man dance party, only amped up on Pride goodness to match your energy with this Barcelona stud manning the turntables @ Heretic, 9 p.m.

Got Leche? Latino Pride Fiesta turns up the volume on Atlanta’s weekly gay Latin night with Pride as a special reason for all that glitter. See singer Dylan Michael and the “King of Pride” Arturo Ruiz @ Club Rush, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

"RuPaul's Drag Race" Fab Five Show is the fabulosity with blonde and beautiful Shavonna B. Brooks and a cast including special guests Detox, Morgan and Alyssa and local "Ru's" girls @ Burkhart’s, 11 p.m.

Kitty LeClaw's Power Hour is the climax of Pride Saturday in a busy weekend of all-day events, eats and drink specials continuing @ Ten Atlanta, 11 p.m.

 

Saturday, Oct. 12
Atlanta Pride Festival (sixth photo). Duh. It’s the reason for the LGBT season, y’all. In addition to hundreds of vendors and park eye candy, official Saturday events in the park include marches, showcases, the Love Is Love Pride photo shoot, this studly ass gay singer and his perfect Pride anthems, plus Taylor muthafukin Dayne, the Kween on the Green social and more. “I Am Divine” encore screening gives you a second chance to see one of Out On Film’s most popular movies about the life of John Waters muse Divine. The encore presentation remembers a great year for Atlanta’s LGBT film festival @ Midtown Art Cinema, 12 noon.

Boy George! (seventh photo) doesn’t really want to hurt you. When the ‘80s icon is playing DJ, it’s a church of the poison mind adjacent to Piedmont Park with more special guests than you can shake a stick at and the go-go boys of Bliss @ Park Tavern, 1 p.m. – 3 a.m.

“Color Our World” with Atlanta Freedom Bands is a concert gala to end all. More than 200 musical guests from 32 LGBT bands put the rainbow in your ear during this new event. The Life, Spirit Magic theme features original music, classics and surprises @ Ferst Center, 8 p.m.

Grand Reopening Porn Star Weekend welcomes porn stars Michael Brandon, Collin Stone, Duncan Black and more @ Flex, all day. They’re just some of Atlanta’s gay Pride weekend porn stars.

Atlanta Pride Women’s Party. This year’s official event welcomes you and “Real L Word’s”  Sara Bettencourt and Whitney Mixter (eighth photo). It includes a concert by Halcyon, go-go girls and So. Much. More. with the women who love women who love Pride @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Pride “L” Lounge returns for its second year with lesbians keeping it cool in the swanky surrounds just a quick walk from the Pride festival in Spice Market and Pond Room @ W Midtown. The Bedlam kids dub theirs “The Social” in the Whiskey Park lounge @ W Midtown. Both 9 p.m.

Wanda Sykes riffs on life during her latest comedy tour. Conveniently timed to hit the metro during Pride, catch her @ Cobb Energy Centre, 8 p.m.

Peach Mega Women’s Party is the annual lesbian bash presented by Curve magazine @ Center Stage, 9 p.m.

DJ Shane Stiel (ninth photo) rubs up against the manly men who migrate together each week. Nobody does hot hairy and hunky like this DJ. It’s his “Haus” @ Heretic, 9 p.m.

Taste the Rainbow with Chi Chi LaRue. The porn maven arrives with her boys in tow. They lead the nearly naked pack stripping for your Pride @ BJ Roosters, 9 p.m. Yup, you heard right: 14 gay porn stars pump up Pride events this year.

Gurlfrandz Pride Party celebrates a whole year of fabulous alternaqueerness with the most unusual queer drag show and all the low-hanging fruits at East Atlanta’s favorite gay bar for Pride weekend @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

DJ Tony Moran (10th photo) spins Atlanta’s best gay dance party at Atlanta’s best gay dance club. Pride production performance by Phoenix. It will be wall to wall with you as queen of the ball @ Jungle, 9 p.m. Save money with a Jungle Weekend Pass covering you through Sunday.

Daring Divas is the Saturday night show, but you’ll want to go earlier for more cute boys than you can handle @ Blake’s, 10 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 13
Atlanta Pride Festival (11th photo). Hit the park. In addition to hundreds of vendors and thousands of people, official Sunday events in the park include the annual Atlanta Pride Parade down Peachtree & 10th Streets with an abundance of Grand Marshals and national high-profile Honorary Grand Marshals, 1 p.m. Stick around for Sonia Leigh and hot sexy Aiden Leslie among the talent on stage, and the signature Atlanta Pride Starlight Cabaret. HRC Pride Brunch is among the best seats in town for the parade. Your food and beverages lull you into the day at this annual throwdown with the national LGBT rights organization @ Empire State South, 11:30 a.m. They’ll pack ‘em in similarly during Pride on the Deck with DJ Vicki Powell @ Henry’s, 12 noon, and all your friends tipping cocktails at Ten Atlanta and 10th & Piedmont.

Atlanta Pride Closing Party with DJ Alyson Calagna (bottom photo) lays down a party to shake up your Sunday and wrap up your Pride weekend. Strap in and strap up for a Pride sendoff you won’t soon forget @ Jungle, 7 p.m. – 3 a.m..

DJ Vicki Powell’s Sunday Service: Libra Pride Shenanigans puts a holigay spin on the monthly event with the Pride Kickoff queen and her queers for her own birthday bash. She hosts DJs Martin Fry and Chris Griswold on the sacred gay grounds @ Sister Louisa’s Church of the Living Room, 6 p.m.

Pride Sunday Bear Invasion welcomes all comers with gay rugby hosts the Atlanta Bucks to close out Pride with DJs Brian Reyes and Sean Mac @ Heretic, 7 p.m. Bear Invasion is serious sexiness.

Electric Six and the Sexual Side Effects rock your Pride. The “Gay Bar” band and the local queer-inclusive rockers make for an ass-kicking good time @ The Earl, 8 p.m.
