Leave it to Atlanta’s gay-owned Urban Body Studios to stir up a singular fundraising event. In June, it was hunks in trunks. On Saturday, a Rockabilly Hair, Tattoo & Fashion Show benefitted Ben Cohen’s StandUp Foundation.

Urban Body’s Rad Slough (top photo, right) held court over the party as Cohen (left) auctioned off a signed pair of his own StandUp briefs, and emcee Holly Firfer (center) introduced fashions by Grease Monkey and the Lucky Exchange. Just to keep it gay, food was provided by Radial Café, music by DJ Todd Skelton, hairstyles by Urban Body, and one of the co-ed models was CBS Atlanta’s hunkiest gay Brandon Rudat.

Cohen also did the honors shaving Atlanta Field Day organizer Davis Kirby’s head, making good on a promise if Saturday’s Field Day reached its fundraising goal. Rockabilly was the fourth stop on Cohen’s September tour through Atlanta promoting his anti-bullying StandUp Foundation. Our cameras also caught him at Atlanta Field Day and wowing a cute gay crowd at the swanky – and you guessed it, gay-owned – Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams on Thursday. He ran the Drunken Sailor, too.

Cohen returns as one of 10 Atlanta Pride parade grand marshals in October.
